Kulwant Rai Jain DAV Public School, Kapurthala organized Mothers’ Day Celebration in the multipurpose hall of the school . Mothers of the students of Class Nursery to UKG participated in the event. The programme was initiated with a melodious song “Tu kitni achhi hai O Ma” dedicated  to mothers sung by class VI students. A beautiful powerpoint presentation on most inspiring mothers was also shown and appreciated. The school staff conducted some fun activities for mothers such as passing the parcels, pasting the bindi on a portrait, picking thermo balls with straw, picking and collecting the balls of same colour asked by mother etc. There was an interesting questionnaire for the kids “How much you know about your mother?”. Kids gave funny answers and everyone enjoyed the activity a lot. At last mothers of nursery class presented ramp walk with their kids. Gamya and her mother won this round. Mothers of Aryan, Naksh, Kuwarpartap, Rohit, Mishita, Sehajpreet and Anshika won prizes in different activities. Mothers felt great pleasure and enthusiasm by doing all the activities. A dance by the students of class III was also performed to salute the dedication of mothers. At last mothers of Anshika and Aryan also recited poems. The event was highly appreciated by all presented. Mrs Roohi Walia did the anchoring of the entire event.
